Scientist (Position # 0010-02)
A Research Scientist position is available to work at Intralytix’s
laboratories in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Strong, bench-level
microbiology skills, and scrupulous data recording habits are essential
for the position. Experience with isolating and characterizing
bacteriophages, and first-hand knowledge of general microbiologic methods,
as well as common DNA and protein isolation and characterization
techniques, is a plus. The ability to design and carry-out experiments
under minimal supervision, and to analyze and summarize data is strongly
preferred. A B.S. degree in microbiology or a related field, and a
minimum of two years of related experience - or a M.S. degree in
microbiology or a related field, and a minimum of one year of related
experience - are required for the position. The salary will be
commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position can be
upgraded to Senior Research Scientist based on the experience and
qualifications. The benefits package includes health insurance and

Research
Scientist – Process
Development (Position # 0010-03)
A
Research Scientist position is available to work at Intralytix’s
laboratories in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Job responsibilities will
include participation in the development and optimization of (i) fermenter-based
production procedures for various bacteriophages, (ii) small- to
medium-scale phage purification and concentration protocols, and (iii)
various product formulations. Prior experience in operating fermenters is
highly desirable, and familiarity with filtration systems is a plus.
Scrupulous data recording habits are essential for the position, and the
ability to work in the team environment is a must. Having a basic
microbiology background will be helpful. The salary will be commensurate
with experience and qualifications. The benefits package includes health
