Mr. Woloszyn has just completed his tenure as chairman of the Maryland State Bar Association's Business Law Section. He has previously served as chairman of the Maryland State Bar Association's Section on International Commercial Transactions as well as chairman of the MSBA Business Law Section's Committee on Corporate Law. Through his participation on the Committee on Corporate Law, he has helped draft and lobby for legislation designed to keep Maryland's corporate law updated. Mr. Woloszyn has written numerous articles on business and international legal issues. He has also lectured on behalf of the Greater Baltimore Committee's Biotech Professionals' Forum, the World Trade Institute, the National Business Institute, the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers, and the Potomac Knowledgeway on issues confronting technology-based businesses, on international commercial transactions and on general business topics. Mr. Woloszyn is an active supporter of the regional technology community. He is currently a co-vice chairman of the GBC Technology Council. Mr. Woloszyn has served on several task forces charged with reviewing or proposing legislation designed to support technology based businesses. He has also served as chairman of the GBC Technology Council's Legislative Committee and as a member of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce's Legislative Committee. Mr. Woloszyn is a graduate of Rutgers University and the University of Maryland School of Law. |
