01LP Phage Preparation Effective Against
Listeria monocytogenes
ListShield™ (formerly LMP-102) is a unique and proprietary
blend of six individual phages that provides broad protection
specifically against pathogenic strains of L. monocytogenes.
This preparation significantly reduces contamination levels of
L. monocytogenes in various foods by 99-100%.
ListShield™ is FDA- and USDA-approved for direct application
onto foods
(21 CFR §172.785.) It is also EPA-approved for
application on surfaces in food facilities and other
establishments (EPA registration #74234-1.) ListShield™ received
a “Best of What’s New” award in 2006 from Popular Science
magazine. ListShield™ is the choice for eliminating or
significantly reducing contamination of food with L.
monocytogenes because it:
- Has significant bactericidal activity against its
targeted bacterial pathogen
