Phage Preparation Effective
Against Escherichia coli O157:H7
EcoShield™ (formerly ECP-100) is a unique and proprietary
blend of three individual phages that provides broad protection
specifically against pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli
O157:H7. This preparation significantly reduces contamination
levels of E. coli O157:H7 in various foods, including
ground beef, by 95-100%. EcoShield™ is FDA-cleared as "Food Contact Notification" or FCN, for use on red meat parts and trim intended to be ground (FCN No. 1018).

reducing contamination of food with E. coli O157:H7
